The first meeting of Moscow (National) Branch of the International Wine & Food Society (IWFS) in 2021. On 12th of February 2021 the first meeting of Moscow (National) Branch of the International Wine & Food Society (IWFS) in 2021 took place at the restaurant Buloshnaya. The meeting was dedicated the occasion of the 130-th of establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Mexico.

The president of ICWAG became a head of a special work group of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, being responsible for gastronomic tourism. On 25th of January 2021 the Russian Union of Travel Industry created four new work groups on perspective directions in tourism. Work group of gastronomi tourism is one of them, president of ICWAG Leonid Gelibterman is the head of this group.

The festival of Gastronomic tourism in Kaluga city. On 18-20th of December 2020 the festival of Gastronomic tourism took place in Kaluga city. The project was organized by the Federal Agency for Tourism with support of the Government of Kaluga region.

The most representative tasting of wines of Brazil in the history of Russia Lets raise our glasses, Moscow was held on 15th of December 2020 in a Moscow hotel Baltschug Kempinski. The Embassy of Brazil in Russia and International Center of Wine and Gastronomy were organizers of the event.

On 4th of November 2020, a regular meeting of the Moscow Diplomatic gastronomy club (MDGC) was held in Moscow hotel «Sheraton Palace». Perm region was a region-partner of the event. The Permian delegation was led by the Governor of Perm Region, Dmitry Mahonin. Ambassadors of Bulgaria, Grenade, Jordan, Colombia, Lithuania, Moldova, Nicaragua, Peru, Slovenia, Ecuador, Montenegro and Japan as well as Ministers-Counsellors of the Embassies of Mauritius, Poland and Thailand participated in the regular meeting.

To the 75th anniversary of the United Nations

On June 30, the first official international event after the outbreak of the pandemic was held in Moscow region to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the UN in Russia. The Green Recovery Ambassador’s Business Dinner was organized by Viacheslav Fetisov's Slava Foundation, National Geographic Society, the UN Information Center in Russia and the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy. The discussion devoted to finding ways out of the global crisis with the help of the Green Economy brought together representatives of 30 countries of the world. The video messages were addressed to the participants of the Ambassador’s dinner by: Inger Andersen, the executive director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP); Elizabeth Maruma Mrema, the executive secretary of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD); Enric Sala, a National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence; His Serene Highness Albert Alexandre Louis Pierre Grimaldi, the reigning Prince of Monaco and head of the princely house of Grimaldi; and Patricia Espinosa, the executive secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The director of the UN Information Center in the Russian Federation Vladimir Kuznetsov opened the business dinner with his keynote address. Victoria Elias, director of environmental programs of the World Wide Fund for Nature in Russia, continued the business program. The dinner ended with a speech by Viacheslav Fetisov, UN Goodwill Ambassador to the Russian Federation. The media at the event were represented by journalists from TASS, Russia Today, CNN, Sky News, CBC, TF-1.
