On April 27-29 the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) with support of the government of Peru and Basque Culinary Center will held in Lima the II World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism. More than 2,000 people from 56 countries of the world have registered for participation in the Forum.
Leonid Gelibterman, the president of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy has been invited by the organizers to participate in the Forum as a speaker. The Minister of Commerce, Foreign Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Peru Magali Silva Velarde-Álvarez, the Executive Secretary of Member Relations at the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Carlos Vogeler and the Director of the Basque Culinary Center, Joxe Mari Aizega will launch the event in Lima.
Leonid Gelibterman together with representatives of the United States, Peru, France, Japan and Mexico will take part in the first discussion devoted to the possibilities of the world gastronomy tourism. Then, the speakers will hold their individual workshops. In the interactive format of discussions the participants of the Forum will be able to exchange their views on up-to-date topics, dedicated to the further development of the gastronomic sector in the world. The president of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy will present the opportunities of gastronomic tourism in Russia.
